Why did you join the T.R.U.S.T.?
In order to be a part of the movement of turning wrecked men into viable contributors toward the betterment of the Community at large.
What does being a T.R.U.S.T. Fellow mean to you?
It’s a vehicle by which I/we reach out to those who are in need of guidance, as well as showing that men can change.
Since coming to prison, what have you accomplished?
I’ve grown to the degree that I have become a leader in this community. Also, I have matured enough that I no longer see myself as central to all things In short, I now live to serve.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
My biggest hobby is my body. I am a work-out fanatic. Further, I am an avid Hip-Hop head.
What programs are you involved with other than the T.R.U.S.T.?
I am at present finishing my A.A. Degree. I’m also functioning as a mention to young men through a program called Project Choice, as well as many other self-help programs.
What kind of work do you do with the “inside” and/or “outside” communities?
My function with regards to both communities is the same, to show others the miraculous change that we can go through if we endeavor to try. My job is to show that change in all that I do.
How do you live up to the T.R.U.S.T. value system? How do you promote the ideals of the T.R.U.S.T. outside the workshops?
I promote the ideals of the T.R.U.S.T. through the example of my lifestyle.
What do you want to do after you parole?
Ideally, I would like to do the same thing that I am doing at present.
What are your long-term goals?
As I stated before, my plan is that I will be doing this work of change. Additionally, I would like to do something in the music business, in particular recruitment. I feel I have a good ear for talent.
Personal message to the outside community:
Though you may not know it, we care about you. Though you have forgotten about us, we remember you. It is said that “everything” takes on changes and renewals or else it ceases to exist and dies out. We, the men of the T.R.U.S.T., contend that we have been renewed in both our minds and our spirits. We but only ask for the opportunity to show forth our change. Judge us by our words and actions not our past!
