The T.R.U.S.T. curriculum is taught in three modules, or phases: Module 1: Purging Process The first module in the T.R.U.S.T curriculum involves self-assessment and human development training. This includes removing the value system under which the inmate was functioning at the time of his crime, and replacing it with a positive, responsible value system. Module 2: T.R.U.S.T. Value System After the purging process, the participants then go through the process of learning a new value system that will allow them to function in the community as positive, contributing citizens. This includes the T.R.U.S.T. cultural equation and pyramid concept. Module 3: Reentry and Community Building The final module in the T.R.U.S.T curriculum helps the participants with concrete plans for parole and re-entry. It also aims to shape the men as community leaders who can help repair many of the problems our communities face. When a man is released from prison as an asset, it is his responsibility to be a builder and role model within his family and community. The full curriculum is outlined on our Curriculum page.
